Sunset over Lake Waco, believe it or not.

My grandmother, enjoying her birthday dinner at Old Whisker's Catfish.

Pink. That's right.

I made the family stop at the world-famous Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo. So here's Blake and my dad.

Me, atop a fancy Cadi...

We spent a night in Sante Fe, one of my new favorite cities. Blake just finished breakfast in this shot.

I wandered the city for an hour or so on Tuesday morning. I went to a couple of art museums, and I took pictures of Santa Fe's beautiful landscaping.

More flowers in Santa Fe. Blue, this time.

Flowers, Santa Fe.

Look at all his majesty.

Chillin' near the cabin. And I'm not kidding. It was kinda cold up there.

I talked Blake into climbing a mountain with me. So here he sits, dangling his legs over the cliffs of "Monkeyface," as the locals called it. It took us 3 hours to get up and down the mountain. Elevation? Good question. Alls I know is, it was not an easy climb ... but well worth it.

Blake, on the verge of destruction.

Me, sitting on the edge of a cliff. Or death. Whichever you prefer.

View from the top. That's Blake, in case you had forgotten.

A shot of the same mountain Blake and I climbed, but not so up-close.

Wildflowers near our cabin.

Here's Blake, standing in front of the Rough Creek waterfall, a few miles from our cabin.'Twas a lovely hike for all.

Blake and I, in a totally not-posed shot, in front of the Rough Creek waterfall.

Uh huh.

My mother, overlooking Rough Creek.

Self-explanatory. A bee, a flower. But what you don't know, is this is at the very top of the Rough Creek waterfall.

My parents, as seen on the trail down from the Rough Creek waterfall.

Blake and my father, fishing in the Conejos river, a few miles from our cabin.
