Wags looking sneaky at the Arkansas information center.

A natural brigde about 25 miles below Jasper, Arkansas.

In front of the gates of abandoned theme park Dogpatch USA -- a phantom of my childhood.

Yeeeaaahhhh boiiiiiii ...

Myself with what's left of the Dogpatch sign.

Whaaa ... ?!? (It's a tree with a big hole in it)

...

While hiking in Lost Valley, we came across this passage (which is filled with water in the spring). Beyond this was a tiny opening that led to a deep cave. We follwed the cave for a while, but we couldn't get too far without the proper gear.

At the base of Eden Falls.

Why, Johnny Ringo ... You look like somebody just walked over your grave ...

Dr. Wagner at the mouth of the Eden Falls Cave.

Stephen at the mouth of Eden Falls.

...

Myself, pimpin' at the top of what is usually a waterfall.

...

Bathing in the dripping waters of Lost Valley is a great way to cool off.

In this photo, Wags and I were hiking up the Indian Creek riverbed in search of dry waterfall sites and the Arkansas cave. What we found was this crazy hole in the ground, a frog, fish, deer and a woodchuck. It was a beautiful hike, though.

And then Wags saw the UFO.

The Wagner and my bad self hiked a few miles out to Hawksbill Crag, which is a rocky crag, shaped like a hawk's bill, hanging out over oblivion.

Mighty large country -- overlooking the Buffalo Wilderness.

...

'Twas a long way down.

There I am ... meditating.

Me on the edge of destruction.
